Relaxing Is Vital To Survival

It was January 22, 1989. There was 3 minutes and 10 seconds left in the game and the San Francisco 49ers were trailing the Cincinnati Bengals 16-13. And they were on their own 8 yard line. Pressure was mounting and it was now do or die time. This was the last chance the 49ers were going to have to score and they had to score in order to win Super Bowl XXIII.

Joe Montana, one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, was leading the charge down the field. Brett Favre is the greatest quarterback of all time, but I digress.

As they were marching down the field Joe noticed some of his teammates were more tense than usual. Especially Harris Barton, a great offensive tackle who has a tendency to get nervous. As usual, Montana was just focusing on the situation, how far they had to go and how much time was left. Just then he happened to spot the late actor John Candy in the stands. “Look” he said, ‘isn’t that John Candy?” It was hardly what his teammates expected to hear in the huddle with the Super Bowl on the line. But it definitely broke the tension. “Everybody kind of smiled, and even Harris relaxed, and then we all concentrated on the job we had to do.”

And guess what.

They won Super Bowl XXIII with a pass from Joe Montana to John Taylor with 34 seconds left in the game.

RELAX… It’ll Be Okay

Tension, stress, anxiety are all detrimental to your success. You, and everyone else, cannot perform at your best if you’re not relaxed. When you are panicked and/or thinking irrational you’re focused on the negative. And it’s damn near impossible to have any type of success, or live a happy and fulfilling life, if you don’t have the ability to relax when times are tough and stay focused on the positive.

It seems like people are more stressed out, worried, tense and filled with anxiety than ever before. But why? We’re living in the greatest times known to man. We’re safer than ever before. It’s a fact that the world is the least violent it’s ever been, despite what the news brainwashes you with. And opportunity is abundant. There’s more millionaires and billionaires than EVER before. So there’s NO reason you have to be feeling down and out and living an unfulfilling life. I can show you how to live the life you want.

Let Me Help You

If your life is full of stress, anxiety and tension. If you’re unfulfilled, have a negative self-image and aren’t as happy as you want to be, you need to get this book. It’s probably the greatest book ever written on personal development. I promise you that it will change your life. Not only will you be able to deal with stress better, but you’ll also see yourself in a better light. Your self-image will improve. And when you have a great self-image, not even having the pressure of winning a Super Bowl will cause you to doubt your abilities.

Now, let me share one more thing with you about relaxation from Dr. Maxwell Maltz and his Zero Resistance Living Program.

You must keep moving at a time of crisis & of tremendous defeat. At a time when all is lost, it is that time when you keep moving anyway. You must keep moving at times of agony simply because it’s your responsibility & your destiny to find the best that is in you. At that particular time you must refuse to make a mountain out of a mole hill. You must stop demeaning yourself & burning holes in your self respect as a human being because of some agony. You must stop caring for attention because the world seems at and end to you. You must learn to relax when? When times are tough, not when times are easy. It’s no challenge to relax when times are easy.

I know and you know you’re ready to take control of your life. And that’s what you need to do in order to live a life that you want to live. Not a life someone else wants you to live. And this book will put you on the road to that life.

This is how you finish strong

This is how you finish strong.
Last Friday night I was watching some MMA fights. That’s Mixed Martial Arts for those of you who don’t know what MMA stands for.
Anyway..
During one of the fights one fighter took a swing, a right hook if you will, and connected. When he hit his opponent in the face the lights went out. The guy he hit fell over like a giant Oak Tree being cut down in the forest and bounced off the canvas.
I was kinda shocked by what happened next though.
The guy who just hit him jumped on top of him to give him some more. But the ref pulled him off and threw him like a rag doll before he could do anymore damage.
The fight was over?
But why did this guy jump on him after it was clear he was out cold. Totally unresponsive like a drunken bum passed out in an alley?

Because he wanted to make sure he finished strong. He wanted to make sure there was no way his opponent was going to get back up.

Just like any competitor running toward the finish line or watching the clock count down.

They finish strong. They don’t quit until it is over.
You should too.

Do you have this?

Do you have this?

Last night I was watching a show on Netflix called
The Ozarks. It’s about an accountant who’s laundering
money for the drug cartel and things get a little out of
hand. Okay, things can’t get a little out of hand with the
Cartel, but you know what I mean.

If you like shows like Breaking Bad or suspense/thriller
type stuff, I strongly recommend it.

Now, the important stuff..

So what’s a show called The Ozarks have to do with your
life?

More than you think.

Marty Byrde, played by Jason Bateman, has somewhat turned
this little town upside down. He’s taken over businesses so
he can launder his money. In the meantime he’s had to hire a
few people to help him.

One of these people is Ruth.

She comes from a ruff background. We’re talking trailer trash,
dad just got outta prison ruff. We’re talkin redneck of redneck
ruff.

Ruth thought getting a double-wide trailer might be as good
as life ever gets, if it even would ever get that good, before
she met Marty Byrde.

But now Marty is paying her a decent wage and she can
kinda see the light at the end of the rainbow. She can see
that there just might be a better life out there for her. Even
though Marty’s money is dirty, she’s willing to learn all
she can about earning more and making a better life for
herself.

Ruth is starting to believe.

That is until her convict dud(dad) starts telling her she’s
just a Langmore(her last name) and that life isn’t for her
type. He even tells her that they’re cursed. Stuck in the
dirt hole trailer park forever.

All she really wants is a nice house with flowers & maybe
a picket fence.

Now when her dud starts telling her she’s cursed you can
see it squeezing the life out of her dreams. But so far it
hasn’t stopped her. She’s still moving forward. She’s still
doing what Marty tells her because she knows the type of
lifestyle he has and she knows she can have it too if she
LISTENS and learns what he’s teaching. Even if she knows
she’s not going to work for him forever.

Now that she has seen the “other side” of life, she..

BELIEVES!

And that is one thing you have to have if you’re going to
change your life.

Belief.

You have to believe. Then you have to do. Then you will
have the life you desire.

Start believing,

Dana

P.S. If you BELIEVE your life can be different, better, and it can, then you need to step up to the plate & make the next 100 days count. Take this challenge and it will change your life.. forever.
